Frequently Asked Questions

What is up with this cancellation policy of yours?!

Our barbers work on commission based pay. When the barbers experience a cancellation, they do not get paid for that 45 minutes of their day at work. This approximates, if they’ve only experienced one cancellation, a loss of 10% of their pay for the day. It doesn’t sound like much, but it adds up quick. We understand that a cancellation may, at times, feel like a penalty. Rest assured, that is not why this policy is in place. Our staff loves their job. We love seeing y’all at The Nobleman. This is, also, the way the staff pays their bills, and experiencing a 10% loss on a regular basis could prove detrimental. We greatly appreciate your support of your barber.

What is “The Bender”?

This is a clean-up of the perimeter area of your hair. To be specific, we shave your neck with a slight taper at that hairline, and trim around your ears. Maybe a very slight trim in the front hairline area. That is it.

Isn’t an “In-Betweener” the same as a trim?!

No. An “In-Betweener” is meant to be a spot treatment for your haircut. A “trim” still addresses every hair on your head. For your barber, the length of hair coming off of each hair isn’t what makes the difference. Assuming that taking a quarter inch off everywhere will qualify as an “In-Betweener” is incorrect. That takes the same amount of time and detail as a haircut, as it changes ther entire shape of your hair. Think of an “In-Betweener” as something to tide you over, or help you grow out those luscious locks.

Masks?

We have moved to mask optional at The Nobleman. If you would prefer that your barber wears their mask during your appointment, please do not hesitate to let us know. We really do not mind at all. Your comfortability and the safety of you and your family is of the utmost importance to us.

You don’t answer your phones?

We will be honest here. We would like to take our business model to purely functioning online. This would truly help our front desk staff remain organized. That front desk is fast paced and busy. The phone makes their job much harder and more chaotic. The only reason The Nobleman maintains a phone service is, in time sensitive situations the phone is most convenient. If ya call, you are welcome to leave us a message! We will respond via email

“I sent an email, but haven’t received a response yet?”

Chances are you may have sent an email during our off hours. We close at 2:30pm on Saturdays and return on Tuesday at 11:00am. As soon as the staff gets rollin’ on Tuesday, they will get back to ya.
